Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO)

Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO) is a vast collection of over 180,000 full-text titles including dictionaries, law books, histories, poetry, novels, plays, biographies, works of science, sermons, and acts of parliament.

ECCO is a digitised version of the eighteenth century section of the English Short Title Catalogue (ESTC). It includes virtually every work printed in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and British North America, and works in English printed elsewhere, from 1701 to 1800.

Authors include Edmund Burke, Robert Burns, Daniel Defoe, David Garrick, Edward Gibbon, Samuel Johnson, Adam Smith, and John Wesley.
