UWE Bristol statement – Industrial Action September 2022
See all news
UWE Bristol is one of a small number of universities whose Unison members are undertaking industrial action today (Tuesday 20 September), in relation to a national dispute regarding the 2022/23 higher education pay offer. The final offer from UCEA was implemented in the August 2022 payroll for UWE Bristol staff and includes an increase of at least 3% on all spine points, with higher increases for the lowest spine points.
We are disappointed that this industrial action is taking place, but we respect the right of our colleagues to undertake this action and we are working hard to mitigate any potential disruption for our students and staff. UWE Bristol will continue to work with Unison and other unions to support staff and students.
