If you have urgent concerns about the welfare of a student or need support yourself, please contact one of the following numbers for support.

- Someone’s life is at immediate risk
- You do not feel you can keep yourself or someone else safe from immediate harm.
After you have called 999, please advise the University so that we can support the Emergency Service response.

- Select option 2 for 24/7 access to crisis mental health support.
24-hour access to support in non-emergency situations
A free 24-hour confidential helpline and app is available to all students and to University staff who need guidance about how to assist a student.

University support following an emergency or crisis
Please notify the University in the event of a crisis, emergency or serious concern for the health or safety of a student.

This line is open 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday.
This line is not an emergency response line but colleagues will be on hand to help with follow-up support once the immediate emergency or crisis has been contained.
