Drawing at UWE Bristol
At UWE Bristol, drawing has been a core activity for our students within art and design disciplines for over 60 years. We see drawing as one of our areas of strength and expertise. The School of Arts brings together a diverse set of disciplines and with this comes an opportunity to expand the tradition of drawing into new areas.
Drawing is accessible, interdisciplinary, and enables thinking through making. Whatever your experience level, or the course you're doing, we will have something to interest you. Take a look at what we have on offer.
Welcome to the Drawing Studio
The Drawing Studio runs sessions from its home at City Campus Bower Ashton and at a range of venues across the School of Arts and Bristol.

It’s free and all materials are provided. Sessions are drop-in, no need to book.

Drop in and draw
Use the drawing studio to make your own work or get advice from the drawing team on materials and techniques.
Regular drop in sessions open to all in the School of Arts. Sessions are drop-in, no need to book.

Drawing in the city
Join us to draw in and around Bristol. Visit unusual places, places you wouldn’t usually get access to, or places that are good to draw in together.
To join a session, please book onto a session via the events diary. You will be contacted before the event with further details.
