Description
A workshop to help you to make the best use of FAME and Orbis, leading databases for global data about private and public companies.
FAME and Orbis (supplied by Moody's) provide us with access to company financial and management data for large and small businesses based in the UK and Ireland (FAME), and globally (Orbis). The wealth of information available makes them essential resources for business students and academic staff.
If you're not familiar with either FAME or Orbis and would like to learn more about these databases, or if you haven't used them in a while and would like to update your knowledge, then this is the session for you.
Amber Burden, our Moody’s representative, will deliver this training. Amber will introduce and demonstrate FAME and Orbis and will be able to respond to questions you may have about these databases.
The Orbis foundation certificate provides evidence of professional searching skills which you can add to your CV.
