Meet the Widening Access team

We collaborate with local schools and colleges to offer free, tailored support packages, helping students reach their full potential.

About us

Our goal is to break down barriers to higher education, especially for under-represented groups, by providing the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for success.

There’s a wide range of expertise in our team, including professional careers guidance practitioners who provide high quality, impartial advice and guidance.

Our work aims to support the goals set out in the UWE Bristol Access and Participation plan.

"I have heard a lot of university talks, but this one was different. I feel that you made Higher Education accessible for every student in the room. This really links to the values of our school."
