Strive Internship Scheme
The Strive Internship Scheme is for employers who wish to reduce inequalities in the workforce by providing six-to-eight-week, paid internships over the summer.
Applications for our 2024 programme are now open.
The Strive Internship Scheme has been created in recognition of the employment gap that exists for Black, Asian and minority ethnic students and inspired by the #10000BlackInterns initiative.
Bristol City Council and Hargreaves Lansdown have re-launched the region’s Strive Internship scheme, which UWE Bristol are supporting.
The scheme will provide six to eight weeks of real living wage paid summer work experience with organisations across the region for UK domicile and non-UK domicile Black, Asian and minority ethnic students.
Now more than ever, it is critical to support Bristol’s young people into employment.
This is a brilliant opportunity for organisations to take collective positive action towards reducing the inequalities that exist in our city and beyond.
