This is the Department of Transport's website for statistics concerning all aspects of transport in Great Britain. This Theme from the UK's Office for National Statistics brings together information and statistics about Transport, Travel and Tourism whether in the United Kingdom or overseas. A number of government departments and other organisations contribute to the theme, with statistics covering the characteristics of people who travel and the reasons why they make their journeys, means of transport, freight, tourists and tourism and transport safety and pollution issues.
