We take children on voyages as readers and writers, and we’re on the lookout for volunteers to join our virtual Crew. As a Volunteer Crewmate, your role is to join our online sessions and help children practise their reading and writing, 1:2 and in small groups.

Join our friendly team in our vibrant youth hub in Bristol and create unforgettable experiences for young people with refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds!

Children from lower-income families are less likely to achieve academically than their better-off peers. Action Tutoring is a charity that works to level the playing field.

We are looking to increase our volunteer base in your area so that we can start delivering our free, lifesaving skills sessions in schools local to you.

Could you give some of your time to help us: arrange the sessions, teach the sessions, fundraise and raise awareness of our charity?

In the school holidays we support low income families with sports, games, crafts and food for the whole family. Creating a space where children and parents can play, get creative, make new friends and learn to cook together in a supportive community. Can you help with crafts, play or food?
