Description

This workshop will help you to learn strategies to improve your understanding of the vocabulary used in reading materials, and practice writing new words in meaningful sentences.

This workshop is a part of the Communication Skills for International Students programme. It is designed for international students and students who use English as an additional language.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this session, you will feel more confident about:

Predicting meaning from context.
Identifying important words in your reading.
Using word forms to predict meaning.
