Description
Are group discussions part of your course? What are you expected to do and what type of language is required? This workshop will clarify the purpose of these discussions and help you to practise the language you need to participate effectively.
This workshop is a part of the Communication Skills for International Students programme. It is designed for international students and students who use English as an additional language.
Workshop objectives
To feel more confident about:
- recognising the purposes of a group discussion and the skills involved
- applying the skills required for active participation in a group discussion
- using some useful phrases for discussions.
