Description

Our repair café is coming to Bower! Repair café offers students, staff and members of the public the chance to have their broken items fixed!

It’s run by students and community repair volunteers and supported by technicians and academic staff. Items that can be repaired may include electricals and small appliances, clothes, and anything that can be glued, soldered, or stitched.

Please note that we don’t currently have the capacity to fix phones and other devices, we recommend to contact Fix My Tek in the Sustainability Hub for these repairs.

Please note that this is a voluntary service: all repairs are done at your discretion, so there is no guarantee that your item will be fixed. Repair cafés are all about skill sharing and community, so please feel free to ask lots of questions!

You can also get involved as a repairer. Please contact kat.corbett@uwe.ac.uk for more info on how to join the team!
