Description
An updated version of a session delivered to senior civil servants this summer, Glenn Lyons from UWE Bristol's Centre for Transport, will outline the challenges posed by our changing climate to the UK Transport system and will explore the solutions needed to make it more resilient.
A topic of vital importance to the future of the country, this talk will be of interest to all, whether professionals in the field or those who simply want to find out more.
About the facilitator
Glenn is the Mott MacDonald Professor of Future Mobility at the University of the West of England, Bristol. With a career-long focus on understanding and influencing travel behaviour in the context of continuing social and technological change, Glenn specialises now in vision-led strategic planning for an uncertain world in the face of a climate emergency.
For the last year he has been a member of the Wales Roads Review Panel.
