1. Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP)

   • Duration: two years
   • Qualification: Graduate Diploma in Professional Policing Practice (UWE Bristol)
   • Overview: open to graduates from any discipline, the DHEP allows you to work as an operational police officer while studying for your diploma.
   • Key benefits:
     • Earn a full police officer salary
     • University fees covered by Avon and Somerset Constabulary
     • Opportunity to specialize in neighbourhood policing or as a detective
2. BSc Applied Criminal Justice
   • Overview: ideal for those already working in the criminal justice sector, this programme allows you to earn a degree that recognizes prior professional experience.
   • Eligibility: staff in the criminal justice sector can claim the first two years of the programme as prior experiential learning, leaving only the third year to complete for a BSc.
