Join us and Miss Wales finalist Leiah Ritchie for a collaborative litter pick fundraiser and raise awareness about waste.

Description
Are you passionate about helping the environment? If so, this event is for you!
Raise awareness of the issue of waste and take part in this litter-picking fundraiser. Not only will you be helping to clean up your local environment, you'll be supporting charity.
Student of Environmental Management and Miss Wales 2025 finalist, Leiah Ritchie, are collaborating with the Sustainability Committee on a litter pick fundraiser.
This event will raise funds for the Miss World charity, 'Beauty With A Purpose', which helps children worldwide, It will also support the not-for-profit organisation, 'A-Sisterhood', which seeks to empower, support and protect women worldwide.
The route will begin and end at Arnolfini café, where there'll be a social. Along the way, we'll litter pick in local green spaces, such as Queen Square and College Green.
Litter-picking equipment will be provided but please feel free to bring along your own if you have it.
Make sure you wear practical clothes and footwear (sturdy, closed-toe shoes) and check the weather beforehand so you can dress accordingly and be as comfortable as possible.
