Description
As part of Black History Month 2024, the Library will be holding a Q&A with author and alumni Moses McKenzie. Moses is the author of Fast by the horns and An olive grove in Ends. The event will have a mix of prepared questions asked by our event host, a chance for questions from the audience, and will be followed by an informal networking session.
This year's theme for Black History Month is 'Reclaiming Narratives'. This is a chance to discuss how this theme is explored in Fast by the horns, or any other themes in either of his books. Moses studied English Literature here at UWE Bristol, so this is also a chance to ask questions about his career path and life after university.
You do not need to book on to this event, but to help us plan ahead, please register your interest and let us know any questions you may have for Moses.
If you have yet to read his books, you can borrow them from the Library. We will also be giving away copies of Fast by the horns on Friday 18 October that you can bring to the event to be signed.
