Description
This workshop is an introduction to the Oxford Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA).
This session will cover:
- understanding what assessment offences are and knowing how to avoid plagiarism
- paraphrasing what you read effectively in your writing
- using the OSCOLA guidelines to create references.
This workshop is open to any law student at UWE Bristol who is required to submit coursework using OSCOLA.
How to attend
This is an online workshop. Please book a place to receive the Teams link to join the event via email.
This workshop will take place on Microsoft Teams - guidance on using Microsoft Teams is available. The workshop will have interactive elements and we recommend that if possible you use a laptop or PC. You may wish to use an additional mobile device or another tab in your browser for the interactive elements.
You can access the session materials beforehand from the Study Skills site.
