Description
The theme of this event is 'Unleadership' and will feature talks from Carol Jarvis, Professor in Knowledge Exchange and Innovation at UWE Bristol and Hugo Gaggiotti, Professor in Work and Employment.
They will share ideas and reflections on (un)leaderly practices they developed in their forthcoming book Unleadership: The remarkable power of unremarkable acts.
Practices of ‘unleadership’ became visible, not because of the lack or absence of leadership, but rather because they disrupt our ideas of what might constitute leadership practices and the notion of ‘leadership’ and ‘followership’.
This address is designed to look at ‘unleadership’ as a state of mind, paying attention to how good work really gets done.
A light breakfast will be provided and there will be plenty of opportunity for networking.
