Description

Be your own boss (BYOB) is an 8-week workshop series designed to build your commercial awareness and develop key entrepreneurial skills. We’ll support you no matter what stage you’re at in your start-up journey.

We'll be hosting 'Be your own boss BYOB' on Frenchay Campus in the Student Ventures Hub (1F23).

Over the eight weeks, we'll be covering the four key pillars of any business or project - compatibility, desirability, feasibility and viability, as well as hosting 'office hour' sessions (during this time, we won't be delivering any content, but will provide a space for you to sit and work on your business idea, with support from our team on-hand).

In today's session, we'll be taking a look at 'viability', which answers the questions:

  • How much money do I need to raise to fund my idea?
  • How much will my customers pay for my product or service?
  • What are the costs involved in running my business?
  • How will I manage my finances?

We look forward to seeing you there.

If you have any questions or concerns, please drop us an email at enterprise@uwe.ac.uk.
