Applications open in January 2025 and close on 30 June (UK students) or 31 May (non-UK students).

If you receive an offer to study, you will be invited to apply for the Scholarship through the UWE Bristol Welcome Portal. You will receive an email containing a link to the application form when the application period opens.

You will be contacted about the results of the Scholarship application 14 days after the deadline above. You will have 14 days to confirm acceptance if you are successful.

Your application will be evaluated on:

  • your interest in the subject area – you should demonstrate a strong passion for the course you’ve applied for and explain how it aligns with your future career plans.
  • personal motivation – you should show your commitment to your chosen field of study and your drive to succeed at postgraduate level.
  • alignment with our values – you should highlight how the experiences and skills learnt on your undergraduate course will help you achieve your career goals.
  • potential for impact – you should indicate how you plan to use your postgraduate education to make a difference in your field.

This will be assessed through a series of questions in the Scholarship’s application form.
