These scholarships are available to students progressing from UWE Bristol’s International College to UWE Bristol.

About the scholarships

UWE Bristol offers a number of scholarships to students progressing from UWE Bristol’s International College to UWE Bristol. These include the following:

Global Buddy Scholarship

Four Global Buddy Scholarships are available, which offer a 25% tuition fee discount for a maximum of three years (this does not include placement years).

In order to be eligible students must:

  • Be an international fee payer
  • Achieve a minimum of 70% attainment
  • Achieve a minimum of 90% attendance

To apply for the Global Buddy scholarship eligible students will need to attend the audition day on Friday 11 April 2025. Successful candidates will need to submit their E-portfolio and deliver a presentation to the Global Student Support Team. Eligible students will be invited to the audition day.

Eligible applicants must:

  • meet the conditions of their offer from UWE Bristol
  • be classed as overseas for fees purposes
  • provide official transcripts in line with the conditions of their UWE Bristol offer.

Note for successful candidates: you will need to prove when accepting the Scholarship that you satisfy the UKVI criteria in terms of being able to cover living costs and the remainder of the fee.
