These scholarships are available to selected undergraduate programmes in our Computer Science and Creative Technologies Department.

About the scholarship

APAK logoA small number of scholarships are available to year two students on selected undergraduate programmes in our Computer Science and Creative Technologies Department.

These scholarships were established by the Tony Papadopoullos Charitable Trust in memory of Tony, the founder of software specialist company, Apak, now operating as Sopra Banking Software.

Are you eligible?

You’re eligible to apply for this scholarship if you:

  • are studying on one of the following programmes
    • BSc Computer Science
    • BSc Software Engineering for Business
    • BSc Cyber Security and Digital Forensics
    • BSc Business Computing
    • BSc IT Management for Business
    • BSc Games Technology
    • BSc Digital Media
  • are in your second year
  • received a module average of 70+ in your first year
  • are receiving a UWE bursary.

Scholarship benefits

Successful applicants will receive £2,500 in their second year of study and £2,500 in their third year of study.
