About
Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (BOVTS) attracts the very best talent in students and staff, and our courses are recognised nationally and internationally as a benchmark of quality in professional acting, technical, production and management training.
Location
Bristol Old Vic Theatre School consists of three sites:
- The main site, which is housed in three Edwardian buildings on the edge of the beautiful Clifton Downs, Bristol, UK.
- Christchurch Studio, an ex-BBC recording studio bought by the school in 2001. It was the BBC flagship radio drama studio for many years.
- Our workshop on Sheene Road, the school's purpose built scenic art and construction workshop, designed for set construction and the painting of large scale scenery.

- FdA Costume for Theatre, Television and Film. (Students who successfully complete the FdA Costume for Theatre, Television and Film may apply to the one year BA(Hons) Costume for Theatre, Television and Film top-up award.)
