Occupational Health clearance

If you are on a professional programme leading to professional registration, including healthcare and teaching, you will need to have Occupational Health Clearance before you start your course at UWE Bristol. Your offer is subject to satisfactory Occupational Health Clearance.  

Further information as to whether this is a requirement will be available on your chosen course. 

You will be sent a Health at Work form to submit. It is important that you include all information about your health and any impairments you have. You may be asked to attend a medical appointment or have further discussion with the Occupational Health Team as part of this.

Your responses and information will be reviewed by our Occupational Health Partners and your outcomes from this process (Fit, Fit with Adjustments or Not fit) will be provided to UWE Bristol in the form of a recommendation. UWE Bristol will then review all information and then get in touch with you if we need to discuss your offer.
