Widening access
The Widening Access (WA) team deliver a range of targeted workshops, activities and events for schools and colleges to help students realise their full potential and maximise attainment. We are committed to breaking down barriers to higher education (HE) for prospective students, particularly those from under-represented backgrounds, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed on their educational journey.
Our work aims to support the goals set out in our latest Access and Participation plan.
We work specifically with schools and colleges in and around Bristol, as well as some that are further afield. To find out more about what we can offer to your school or college, please contact the WA team at widening.access@uwe.ac.uk.
To receive up-to-date information about opportunities for your students and staff, please subscribe to our schools and colleges email update.
