'Ceramic
Rooms' at the Geffrye Museum
An innovative
exhibition at the Geffrye Museum in East London was filmed by NEVAC
on 9th December. Kate Malone and Edmund de Waal worked for a year
on the project to produce their own ceramic rooms. Kate's 'maximalist'
extravaganza is an amazing counterpoint to de Waal's 'minimlaist'
space. Kate was interviewed talking about her room whilst de Waal's
room was discussed by the museum's Deputy Director, and curator of
the exhibition, Christine Lalumia. Edmund was unable to take part
in the filming but it is hoped that we can interview him in the New
Year talking about the project.
