funding for Enamel Project:
Elizabeth Turrell
is an enamel artist of international standing. She is based at the
University of the West of England's Faculty of Art, Media and Design,
(home of NEVAC), and is an Arts and Humanities Research Board, (AHRB),
Research Fellow. She is currently working on a book about contemporary
enamel artists and has built up a large archive of images of enamel
artists' work. Elizabeth has secured funding for digitising the images.
NEVAC have now secured £6000 funding to interview a series of
British artists who use enamel as a major element in their work. Work
on the project will begin early in 2003.
