Date that this item was entered on to the web-site: 3rd November 2002 Unique Bernard Leach donation: A 60 minute audio-cassette recording of Bernard Leach has recently been given to the archive by Henry Rothschild. This unique material was recorded by David Leach and was Bernard's response to an April 1975 article in Ceramic Review by Bob Rogers, 'Reflection on Freedom and Ceramics'. NEVAC would like to express sincere thanks to Henry Rothschild for this kind gift. On 6th December 2002 a short interview was conducted by Matthew Partington with Bob and Mary Rogers, to discuss the details of the Leach recording. Whilst the majority of the material in the archive is generated by NEVAC staff, we do accept gifts of recordings made by others.
