Our Social Work, Environment and Public Health programmes are vocational courses that lead to professional qualifications. Our graduates go onto to find work in their chosen profession, or a closely associated field of work.

From the moment our students start, they can access careers information and advice from their tutors, employers, the UWE Careers and Enterprise Team. So, by the time they graduate, they will be equipped with the experience, contacts and skills to success in their chosen careers.

Graduates work for a range of local authorities, public sector and charitable organisations, as well as in the private sector. These employer partners also help shape our courses and provide placements. Leading employers include Bristol City Council, Somerset County Council and Gloucestershire County Council.
