Project details
Funding body: Malta Environment and Planning Authority
Dates: 2012-2014
Project summary
AQMRC was commissioned by the Malta Environment and Planning Authority to assist them in determining the impact of the Delimara Power Station on local air quality, particularly PM10.
Using a bespoke methodology and the application of an innovative analytical approach, AQMRC's technical report assessed the effect of using Heavy Fuel Oil by analysing monitoring data temporally and spatially to determine whether the station is likely to cause exceedances of the EU Limit Values for PM10.
