How to book a doctors appointment, including information for the University Health Centre.
What you need to do

Step 1
You will need to register with a doctor before you can book an appointment. You can register at the University Health Centre on Frenchay Campus or choose another practice.

Most surgeries can be contacted in a variety of ways. You can search for your surgery's contact details on the NHS website.

- in person.

If you need to amend or cancel an appointment, please give your surgery as much notice as possible. You can search for your surgery's contact details on the NHS website.

When can I be seen?
Urgent appointments
If you need an urgent appointment, please book through The Old School Surgery using klinik. If no suitable appointment is available, we’ll arrange for a clinician to call you back, advise you over the phone, or arrange an alternative appointment for you if necessary – sometimes this may be at the Old School Surgery in Fishponds.

Routine appointments
You can book an online appointment through Old School Surgery's klinik.
When the Health Centre is closed outside of term time or if you live in Fishponds, you can book an appointment up to two weeks ahead at the Old School Surgery.
