The Global Student Support Team offer information and advice to ensure you receive all the support you need to get the best from your time at UWE Bristol. We are here to help you to settle in when you first arrive at UWE Bristol and organise social events to help you to adapt to your new environment.

If you've remained living on campus through this period, please join the UWE Bristol campus resident support group. The Accommodation Team are ready and waiting to support you through your stay.
Chinese Community Society
Free telephone helpline service to seek assistance on a range of issues. This project offers a free telephone helpline service to the Chinese community in the South West region. You can contact them by phone 0808 802 0012 or email helpline.bacwg@btconnect.com.
International student app
The newly launched International Students app provides dedicated support for international students. From advice on health and well-being, to housing, finance and study support. It's filled with practical tips and advice to support you once you arrive in the UK, including making friends and learning the English language.
Nilaari
Nilaari is a local Back, Asian and Minority Ethnic-led charity with therapists delivering support talking therapies and workshops for students experiencing the rigours of university life. The charity is currently offering all services via telephone.
The Students' Union at UWE
The Students' Union at UWE represents all UWE Bristol students. Through the Student's Union you can try new opportunities, find support, and become part of a community. There are lots of opportunities to find a community where you can share your experiences and get to know other students.
There are over 30 student-led national, faith and identity societies for you to choose from. They will help you to meet people with the same interests or beliefs, as well as learn about new cultures.
