Governance and management
The University governance and management framework is arranged into three separate but connected elements; the Board of Governors, the Academic Board and the Vice-Chancellor's Executive.
The University's framework is set out as part of the University's Articles of Government (PDF).
Board of Governors
The Board of Governors is responsible for corporate governance, strategy and risk.
Academic Board
The Academic Board is responsible for academic governance, standards and quality of the student experience.
Vice-Chancellor's Executive
The Vice-Chancellor's Executive is the senior leadership and executive decision making group for the University. They oversee the University’s long-term academic and financial sustainability and the implementation of medium and short-term strategies.
