Films
The Video Project was established in 1992 and produces films on building construction, history and conservation.
Construction films
These films concentrate on domestic building construction. There are currently 19 films in the series. The films explain the principles of modern construction and, where appropriate, trace its evolution over the last 100 years or so. There is extensive site footage showing construction of various elements and lots of simple graphics to explain details, sequences etc.
Building history and building conservation films
These films concentrate on building conservation and the history of building construction. There are currently 13 films in the series. We do not intend to revise these films – we think they are as relevant now as when they were made.
