Astro pitch
UWE Bristol's all-weather pitch
Situated next to the Centre for Sport on Frenchay Campus, the astro pitch features:
- full-size FIH specification playing surface and run-offs
- a video tower with electrical outlets
- 100 covered seats
- custom-built brick dugouts with electric doors, power, WiFi and lighting
- a range of training aids, including a ball machine and rebound boards
- international standard floodlighting
- a dedicated maintenance team
- separate changing rooms and showering facilities for home and away teams.

Playing in cold weather
If you have a booking and the weather is cold (frost/snow), please call the Centre for Sport reception on +44 (0)117 32 86200 to find out whether the pitch is playable and if the booking can continue.
Footwear guidelines
Please see the guidelines for acceptable footwear on the artificial pitch. You will not be allowed to enter in unacceptable footwear.
